Summer in the Grove is an enrichment program designed to feed the intellect, creativity, and energy of the young adolescent with project based courses that include STEAM, fine arts, sports, life skills, and the humanities.


Registration is open through May 15, 2019! Signing up is easy:

Summer in the Grove 2019 is a Montessori-based summer enrichment program for middle-school aged students presented by the Armantrout Montessori Education Foundation.


Session I: June 17-28, 2019

Session II: August 5-16, 2019


  • Morning Class: 9:00AM – 12:00PM

  • Afternoon Class: 1:00PM – 4:00PM

  • Full Day: 9:00AM – 4:00PM


Half Day (Morning OR Afternoon Class) per session: $260

Full Day (Morning AND Afternoon Class) per session: $440

Summer in the Grove enrollment is on a first-come, first-served basis.

Fees for Summer in the Grove are as follows:

  • $260 for half day per two-week session (June or August)

  • $440 for full day per two-week session (June or August)


Full payment upon registration is strongly preferred. However, a $100 deposit will secure your student’s place in the summer program. Summer program deposits are non-refundable and can only be applied toward the current year summer program fees. Payment plans are available upon request.


You may pay in cash, check, or charge and registration in not completed until payment of at least a $100 deposit is received. Directions for submitting payment will follow completion of the registration form, in your confirmation email.


Paying by check or cash helps to keep fees lower by avoiding service charges to the third parties that process payment. To help us maintain the cost per student, please consider paying by check.


The last day to cancel, make changes and/or pay outstanding tuition is May 15, 2019.  New enrollments may or may not be accepted after that date at the discretion of the AMEF Administrator. All deposits and fees will be forfeited if a cancellation is made after the deadline.


**A limited number of scholarships are available to students who qualify for free or reduced school lunch.  To apply for a scholarship, please email us.**
